Summer Party Information (Updated May 2023)
Do you want to have a party at the pool this summer? Wallingford Swim and Racquet Club is a great location for a fun-filled event.
To schedule a party, the following steps must be completed:
o To be eligible to host a party, you must be a member of WSARC.
o Sign up for a date and time via the SignUpGenius link that was email blasted to members on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. No requests will be taken at the office, via email, or by phone call.
o Pay the party fee via Venmo: @wsarcpool or in cash at the WSARC office within 48 hours of making your party reservation. If you do not pay your party fee within 48 hours of making your reservation using SignUpGenius, your slot will be deleted.
– Parties over 50 people will be reviewed by the managers and the WSARC Board and additional fees will be applied to cover lifeguards, set up, clean up, etc. Please contact Jess King about a party of this size.
– Parties will be available for scheduling Tuesday – Sunday. No parties will be held on Mondays, due to SWAP days and pool crowding. Please note that there will be some dates that are not available due to other scheduled pool events. The last available date for parties is Sunday August 20, 2023.
– At the time of reserving your party slot, WSARC requires a non-refundable fee of $100 for the lawn or $150 for 1/2 of the deck (closer to the basketball court and lap pool).
– Guests, who are not members of the WSARC and who attend the party, are charged $10.00 per guest. This applies to all swimmers coming to the party. This fee is due on the day of your party.
– All members and their guests should familiarize themselves with the pool rules: https://wsarc.org/operating-rules/
– All guests 10 and under must pass a basic pool test and obtain a wristband or manager permission before using the L pool.
– Members shall assume responsibility for the conduct of their guests and will be liable for any damage they or their guest(s) may incur.
– WSARC staff will take down the party set up approximately 10-15 minutes after your party concludes.
WSARC is an alcohol- and drug-free facility. No alcohol or drugs are permitted on pool grounds, at any time, for the safety of our members and guests. If you disregard this rule, you will be asked to leave the pool grounds. Thank you for following this rule.
